Students Recommend Dr. Clegg:
Jan: "I
started flying lessons 4 years ago with Fred. Thanks to Fred I found
passion again. I'm passionate about flying!
"I picked him because he's extremely intelligent and someone comfortable
in the cockpit. You can count on Fred to let YOU fly the plane.
It's QUALITY time worth all the work involved in getting your license.
He will push you to the max, but you will learn to fly safely that
way.
"Photo below is me at Santa Rosa Airport to have a picnic (notice
basket) in the wine country with some friends. It's wonderful just
to spend a day with your friends and take them somewhere fun with
no traffic and fabulous views of the bay area. When you can't sample
the wine (ed: due to FAA regulations) it's a cheap day!!"

Craig:
(from his first flight with Fred Clegg)
"June 11, 2002 Tuesday 5:30pm - Flight #3: My first flight
at RHV with Fred (I took off!!!!)
We did the pre-take off checks, and then he told me to taxi to the
hold short line. Then, very big surprise for the day, he told me
to take off. Uhhhhh, does he realize that this is the 3rd time I
have been in an airplane!?! ...He tells me not to worry, he will
be on the controls ready to take over if necessary and tells me
again to go...So, down the runway we go. and holy shit, we leave
the ground... I am instantly amazed that it all seems to be working
pretty well." Read more
